• With our superb disabled facilities, it couldn't be easier to visit centre:mk. The shopping centre is
• On one level and under one roof. 
• All main doors are fitted with automated door opening controls at wheelchair height. 
• Parking is convenient with parking all on one level and plenty of disabled bays positioned around the centre at regular intervals and dedicated parking bays in the multi-storey car park.
• Dedicated toilets with 'Changing Places' status. 
• Hearing Loop - located at Changing Places. 
• Shopper Mobility is available from the Guest Services Lounge.
• Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.

Sunflower Lanyard Scheme

Not all our guests with disabilities require assistance when they are with us at centre:mk. However we believe there is an opportunity for us to provide a discreet sign in the form of a sunflower lanyard for guests to wear, which highlights to retailers and the centre:mk team that they may need some additional support or help.

Collect your Sunflower Lanyard from the Guest Services Lounge.

Shopmobility

Free Scooters available to hire. Visit the desk or call ahead if you require mobility help on your visit to centre:mk.  A range of wheelchairs are available free of charge and pre-booking is highly recommended.

Dedicated loos mean no queues

Our easily accessible unisex toilets are in the Guest Services Lounge on Silbury Arcade near TK Maxx. These facilities boast Changing Places status and include;

• left and right transfer toilets for wheelchair users
• adult changing table, adjustable with electric powered hoist
• Radar Key access (you can borrow a Radar Key from Customer Services near TK Maxx on Silbury Arcade)
• fitted with emergency alarms

Changing Places specialised toilet facilities are required by a quarter of a million severely disabled children and adults in the UK. The facilities help carers to maintain a level of dignity for service users by not having to resort to being changed on toilet floors. centre:mk, as part of its award winning guest services facilities, was the first to open a Changing Places toilet in central Milton Keynes. 

The ‘Changing Places’ toilet, which is just one of two registered in Central Milton Keynes, was installed in centre:mk in 2017 as part of the shopping centre’s multi-million pound investment in the new guest services lounge. 

More toilets can be found at John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, and Costa Coffee near Door 1.
