The Wishing Pool is a central feature to the annual Christmas Show in Middleton Hall and is used by thecentre:mk to raise money for local charity organisations and community groups. Since 1985 over £342,000 has been raised and distributed throughout projects that benefit the local community. Some of the groups that have been beneficiaries over previous years include GEMK, Age Concern Milton Keynes, MK Reader Service, MK Wildlife Trust, MK Community Cardiac Group, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Calvert Trust, St Tiggywinkles and in 2008 - MK SNAP How to apply on behalf of your organisation If you want to your organisation to be the beneficiary of the Wishing Pool please write to Jackie Tracey at thecentre:mk, 24 Silbury Arcade, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3ES stating which organisation your are representing and also what the money will be spent on.
