thecentre:mk is proud that its Shopper's Crèche has an "outstanding" rating, according to the last OFSTED report.
The Crèche attracted a perfect score in each of the categories, at a time when statistics showed only 3% of childminding facilities in England rated as outstanding.
Our Shopper's Crèche is located on Silbury Arcade near Next and John Lewis.
Our main play area is a state-of-the-art stimulating environment with soft play areas, fibre optic lighting, bubble tube, ball pool, games and toys.
As well as organised art and craft activities to keep your little ones entertained we also have several Playstations, a dance mat and a great selection of DVDs.
We can accomodate children aged between two and nine years old. Places for two year olds may be limited during busy periods.

Children's parties
For four to seven year olds, our Crèche is a fantastic venue for parties, and amazing value at just £80. All our parties include:
- Exclusive use of the main play area for up to 30 children (Monday - Wednesday 5.30pm to 7pm, Thursday & Friday 6pm to 7.30pm)
- Decorative party thrones
- Invitations and party hats
- Each guest gets a £10 off voucher towards their own party.
- Colourful placemats, serviettes, plates and cups
- Balloon for every child
- Unlimited squash for kids and hot drinks for adults
Toddler's parties
We can also host toddler parties for just £45. These include:
- Exclusive use of the Rosie & Jim Play Centre for up to 15 children aged 1-4 years
- 12pm to 2pm and 3pm to 5pm Saturdays. 11.30am to 1.30pm and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Sundays
- Balloons and party hats
- Unlimited squash for the kids and hot drinks for adults
- Place settings
- Invitations
Parent & Toddler sessions
Taking place in our Rosie & Jim Play Centre, this is the perfect way for your toddler to socialise and meet other small children. It improves their social skills and is a great place for you to meet other parents and share tips and experiences.
For parents and toddlers aged up to 3 years.
- £2.50 for one adult and one child
- £3 for a family of up to four
- Toys, activities, art & craft sessions each weekday
The Parent & Toddler sessions take place from Monday - Friday 10am to 1pm & 2pm to 4pm
