Simply Summer Show
Get your summer plans sorted at thecentre:mk
As the Met office will tell you, it’s notoriously difficult to predict the British Weather, last year they predicted a ‘barbeque summer’ only for England to experience the wettest July on record*. However, the Simply Summer Show from the 11-12 May at regional shopping destination, thecentre:mk, has plenty of ideas to help you plan your summer activities.
From the 11-12 May, over 50 exhibitors will be in Middleton Hall at thecentre:mk providing solutions for the British summer, whatever the weather. Included at the show are places to visit, holiday fun for the children, furniture to relax in the garden or the present of a ride in a hot air balloon. You can even get up close to a working microlight aircraft or book a lesson on a jet ski.
“The only thing you can rely on with the summer weather, is its unpredictability,” commented Jackie Tracey, events manager at thecentre:mk. “The MET Office has even stopped providing long range weather forecasts this year. That’s why indoor events like this are so valuable, and this year’s show promises to be as varied as possible with enough different ideas for every member of the family.
There’s even the opportunity to start practising to be the next James Bond. With the recent news that production has ceased on the latest film, you can book a place at ‘Spy Games’ and learn the tricks of the trade, just in case Daniel Craig is too old by the time the next film comes round!”
