L'Occitance deliver French Provence to thecentre:mk malls

On Thursday 2 December L’OCCITANE the Provençal beauty company opened its 49th boutique, in the premium quarter at thecentre:mk. The high end beauty brand offered treats to welcome its new customers who visited; hand massages, beauty samples and champagne helped guests to enjoy the newly established L’OCCITANE store at thecentre:mk.

 To mark the opening of its new store in Milton Keynes, L’OCCITANE opened at 10am as a queue created a buzz outside their doors. The first 100 customers, who purchased any product, also received a beautiful pouch filled with L’OCCITANE products. On the day, despite the snow falling outside, customers poured into the new store to discover the L’OCCITANE brand. The store sold wonderful Christmas gifts and hampers, to allow shoppers to prepare for the festive season.

Sabrina Herlory, Head of Marketing at L’OCCITANE UK enthused “We were so delighted to launch our new boutique in Milton Keynes and have the opportunity to meet our local and loyal customers. It was such a wonderful welcome for L’OCCITANE to see people queuing to discover our warm and inviting new boutique. As our presence in the UK continues to expand, we feel thecentre:mk is the perfect new home for us and we very much look forward to seeing our business there grow.”
 
 L’OCCITANE poured a touch of their French heritage into thecentre:mk malls, by displaying a traditional South of France Provenance bike bursting with fresh Lavender. Drawing attention to their arrival at thecentre:mk,  L’OCCITANE staff handed out goody bags and offered 15% discount* to thecentre:mk visitors who were passing by.

Melanie Beck, head of marketing and communications at thecentre:mk commented on the centres new arrival; “It is great for us to see a further development within the premium quarter at thecentre:mk. L’OCCITANE is a great addition to the malls and helps to enhance the product offering at the centre, especially with Christmas fast approaching.”

The introduction of the French beauty and lifestyle brand to thecentre:mk premium quarter sees the shopping centre further develop areas within the centre toward shoppers tastes. L’OCCITANE sits alongside Thomas Sabo which opens on Saturday 4 December and other retailers in the premium quarter such as Kurt Geiger, Pandora, Phase Eight and the recently opened, Dwell.
