The Garden Show at thecentre:mk: What to do in June apart from watch the World Cup

According to Gardner’s World* some of the jobs for the first week in June include planting sweetcorn, covering strawberry’s with netting and give your wooden furniture a facelift before the summer months. Thankfully, the Garden Show at regional shopping destination thecentre:mk, from 4 – 6 June in Middleton Hall,  is perfectly timed to get all the equipment and advice you need.

Now in the middle of its’ 15th year, the Garden Show has plenty to offer, with exhibitors including nurseries,  water features, bonsai, garden design, garden accessories and conservatories.  There will also be a range of modern and traditional garden furniture, a new range of bamboo furniture, including outdoor bars and hot tubs.

Jackie Tracey, Events Manager for thecentre:mk, commented: “Unfortunately, it’s all work, work, work with gardening. After the exertions of the spring you do get to relax slightly but there are still jobs to be done such as planting tender summer-bedding plants, like as begonias, once all risk of frost has passed. Alternatively, you can sit back and just enjoy the sunshine whilst the world cup is on!

Thankfully, the exhibitors of the Garden Show will be on hand with products and advice, to make sure you and your family get the best out of your garden this summer.”
