Wishing Well

The Wishing Pool is a central feature to the annual Christmas Show in Middleton Hall and is used to raise money for local charity organisations and community groups. Since 1985, over £390,000 has been raised and distributed throughout projects that benefit the local community with previous beneficiaries including Age UK Milton Keynes, RSPCA and the MK Play Association.

This year's beneficiary is:

Team George on behalf SSNAP, the official charity of the John Radcliffe Hospital, supporting the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit to raise funds to purchase a new transport incubator.  This incubator is used to transport babies from Milton Keynes to John Radcliffe in Oxford and will be used to transport approximately 1000 babies a year.  Team George is a local charity run by Jonathan and Kirsty Stansfield in memory of their newborn son George who passed away at only 35 hours old after being transferred to Oxford in a transport incubator.
