Wishing Pool

The Wishing Pool is a central feature to the annual Christmas Show in Middleton Hall and is used to raise money for local charity organisations and community groups.

Since 1985 over £340,000 has been raised and distributed throughout projects that benefit the local community. Some of the groups that have been beneficiaries over previous years include GEMK, Age Concern Milton Keynes, MK Reader Service, MK Wildlife Trust, MK Community Cardiac Group, MK SNAP and the Arc Charity.

How to apply to be a beneficiary

The charity selected must be local and all proceeds from the wishing pool must go into a specified project, and not be allocated to administration costs.

To be considered, please download the application form and email it to jessica.evans@thecentremk.com by no later than 19 August 2011.

You will be informed  by Friday 26 August 2011 if you have been shortlisted to make a presentation on the 1st of September 2011 when a final decision will be made.
