thecentre:mk recently supported the Milton Keynes Council and other local businesses in a spectacular Spring Clean on Midsummer Arcade. This ongoing initiative is aimed at upgrading the city centre and instilling pride in the area.

In March 2008 staff at Countec EBP, the Education Business Partnership for Milton Keynes, celebrated new kitchen facilities courtesy of thecentre:mk and with mugs especially designed by a work experience student.
thecentre:mk recently took part in a Corporate Challenge to raise money for ExtraCare Charitable Trust. The Challenge ran over January - March and each company was given £50 to raise much money as possible. All money raised goes to the ExtraCare Charitable Trust enabling people to enjoy active and independent lifestyles in their later years.
The Challenge saw 30 businesses competing in this, the inaugural event. Teams entered included: Ask MK, Avebury Construction, BSI Management Systems, City Law, Control Group, Craig Anderson Menswear, D&P Consultants, ExtraCare Residents, Frosts, Great Brickhill Rotary, Interdirect, Jurys Inn, Keens Shay Keens, Lawyers Direct, Lynx Data Cabling, MacIntyre Hudson, Midas Property Services, Mouchel, Neeves, NHBC, Oakhill Property Services, Ramada Encore, Siemens Communications, The Bollington Group, thecentre:mk, Tollers, Towergate, United Business Centre.
In April the final announcements were made regarding the top three winners of the challenge and thecentre:mk was placed in second position. The winners of the challenge were NHBC who were awarded the first prize of a wonderful new trophy.
